We’re moving away from emails with an arm’s length of names in the “cc” field! The Google group for the NWBNA is set up, and we’ll use it to send announcements to you, like, for example, the heads-up for our next events (pertaining to the November local elections).

The Google group emails can only be sent by NWBNA administrators (Scott Taylor or Bob Judd). Don’t worry about getting inundated with email chat — it won’t happen.

To sign up, see the Google group web site for the NWBNA, or if you just want to receive the emails, drop Bob Judd a note, and you’ll be added to the email list automatically!

The NorthWest Neighborhood Association and the College Neighborhood Association are joining together to sponsor a Candidate Forum on Thursday, October 29th at 7:00 in the Morrell Room of the Public Library.

The focus of this Forum will be to give each Candidate an opportunity to address the realities and concerns particular to the geographic area of Brunswick, as seen by its residents who are represented by our two neighboring associations.  Our forum will provide you an opportunity to speak to and answer questions from neighbors whom you hope to serve through the Town’s policy making body.

There will be questions posed to each candidate by a moderator, followed by Q&A from the audience.  So come ready with some questions!  And we’ll wrap up as we always do with social time where individual conversations and homemade apple pie can be enjoyed by all!
